# Telediario vs Excélsior

The clearest difference is rating: Excélsior at 1.9 against Telediario's 1.0. Excélsior also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). Telediario's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Excélsior holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Excélsior has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Telediario's written reviews are positive against 64% of Excélsior's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Telediario ships an update every 4 weeks, Excélsior every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
