# sakanaction vs SÉtelier

The clearest difference is ads: sakanaction at none against SÉtelier's shown. SÉtelier's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. sakanaction sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.00 per month and SÉtelier sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

sakanaction ships an update every 2 months, SÉtelier every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
