# Ultimate Mouse Lite vs Remote Trackpad

The clearest difference is rating: Remote Trackpad at 3.8 against Ultimate Mouse Lite's 3.2. Remote Trackpad also leads on ratings volume (39 vs 5). Ultimate Mouse Lite's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 15%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote Trackpad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Ultimate Mouse Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Remote Trackpad holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Trackpad has 39 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Ultimate Mouse Lite's written reviews are positive against 15% of Remote Trackpad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ultimate Mouse Lite ships an update every 5 weeks, Remote Trackpad every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
