# Beesy vs Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: Notebook at 4.7 against Beesy's 4.2. Notebook also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (24K vs 64). Beesy's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beesy sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Notebook sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 24K ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Beesy's written reviews are positive against 64% of Notebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beesy ships an update every 6 weeks, Notebook every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
