# Chico Enterprise Record vs Macomb Daily

Chico Enterprise Record and Macomb Daily both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 51% of Chico Enterprise Record's written reviews are positive against 16% of Macomb Daily's. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chico Enterprise Record sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Macomb Daily sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Macomb Daily holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 96 and 174 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Chico Enterprise Record's written reviews are positive against 16% of Macomb Daily's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
