# Forms vs purchasing.ai

The clearest difference is review sentiment: purchasing.ai at 100% against Forms's 56%. purchasing.ai also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Forms's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (86 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forms sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and purchasing.ai sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forms holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forms has 86 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Forms's written reviews are positive against 100% of purchasing.ai's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Forms ships an update every 5 months, purchasing.ai every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
