# Forms vs FTMaintenance Select WorkOrder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FTMaintenance Select WorkOrder at none against Forms's 3. FTMaintenance Select WorkOrder also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Forms's advantage is ratings volume (86 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forms sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. FTMaintenance Select WorkOrder asks for nothing beyond the download.

FTMaintenance Select WorkOrder holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forms has 86 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Forms's written reviews are positive against 50% of FTMaintenance Select WorkOrder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Forms ships an update every 5 months, FTMaintenance Select WorkOrder every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
