# Idira Identity vs Centrify

The clearest difference is rating: Centrify at 2.7 against Idira Identity's 2.3. Centrify also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Idira Identity's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and ratings volume (206 vs 10). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Centrify holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Idira Identity has 206 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Idira Identity's written reviews are positive against 0% of Centrify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Idira Identity ships an update monthly, Centrify every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
