# Bee vs Clicker Writer

The clearest difference is rating: Clicker Writer at 4.5 against Bee's 3.7. Bee's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (47 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clicker Writer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Bee asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clicker Writer holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bee has 47 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Bee's written reviews are positive against 43% of Clicker Writer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bee ships an update every 4 months, Clicker Writer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
