# iProScout Baseball vs PitchAware

The clearest difference is update cadence: PitchAware at weekly against iProScout Baseball's every 3 months. PitchAware also leads on ratings volume (27 vs 3). iProScout Baseball's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 22%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iProScout Baseball sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and PitchAware sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.7 for iProScout Baseball against 3.6 for PitchAware. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PitchAware has 27 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 47% of iProScout Baseball's written reviews are positive against 22% of PitchAware's.

iProScout Baseball ships an update every 3 months, PitchAware weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
