# iProScout Baseball vs Baseball America

The clearest difference is rating: Baseball America at 4.7 against iProScout Baseball's 3.7. Baseball America also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iProScout Baseball sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Baseball America sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Baseball America holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball America has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of iProScout Baseball's written reviews are positive against 41% of Baseball America's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iProScout Baseball ships an update every 3 months, Baseball America every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
