# BlindSquare vs Loadstone GPS

The clearest difference is price: Loadstone GPS at $10.99 against BlindSquare's $39.99. Loadstone GPS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). BlindSquare's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 60%) and ratings volume (60 vs 2). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

BlindSquare costs $39.99 and Loadstone GPS $10.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Loadstone GPS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlindSquare has 60 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of BlindSquare's written reviews are positive against 60% of Loadstone GPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BlindSquare ships an update monthly, Loadstone GPS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
