# OpConnect vs Citifyd

The clearest difference is rating: OpConnect at 3.5 against Citifyd's 2.5. OpConnect also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Citifyd's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 14%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OpConnect holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpConnect has 258 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of OpConnect's written reviews are positive against 43% of Citifyd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OpConnect ships an update every 5 weeks, Citifyd every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
