# Improvisation Piano vs Piano Sim

The clearest difference is rating: Piano Sim at 5.0 against Improvisation Piano's 1.0. Piano Sim also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Improvisation Piano's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Improvisation Piano sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Piano Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Piano Sim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Piano Sim has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
