# HKDSE vs BNHMF

The clearest difference is update cadence: BNHMF at every 4 months against HKDSE's every 9 months. BNHMF also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HKDSE ships an update every 9 months, BNHMF every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
