# RaiPlay vs La7Play

The clearest difference is update cadence: RaiPlay at fortnightly against La7Play's every 2 months. RaiPlay also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RaiPlay ships an update fortnightly, La7Play every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
