# ProWein vs EMS

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProWein at every 5 weeks against EMS's every 5 months. EMS's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ProWein ships an update every 5 weeks, EMS every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
