# Goal Streaks vs Step Guard

The clearest difference is rating: Step Guard at 5.0 against Goal Streaks's 3.3. Step Guard also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Goal Streaks's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goal Streaks sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Step Guard sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Step Guard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Goal Streaks has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Goal Streaks ships an update monthly, Step Guard weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
