# Private Full Screen Browser vs MT Browser

The clearest difference is monetization model: Private Full Screen Browser at free with in-app purchases against MT Browser's subscription. MT Browser's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private Full Screen Browser sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MT Browser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MT Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MT Browser has 2.1K ratings behind it against 247, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Private Full Screen Browser's written reviews are positive against 49% of MT Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Private Full Screen Browser ships an update every 4 months, MT Browser every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
