# Parent Booker vs SchoolPass

Parent Booker and SchoolPass both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Parent Booker's written reviews are positive against 20% of SchoolPass's. SchoolPass's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (5K vs 12). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Parent Booker against 4.7 for SchoolPass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SchoolPass has 5K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Parent Booker ships an update every 5 months, SchoolPass monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
