# NavNet vs RT

The clearest difference is rating: RT at 3.0 against NavNet's 2.4. RT also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and chart position (#194 vs unranked). NavNet's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (33% vs 0%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RT sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. NavNet asks for nothing beyond the download.

RT holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of NavNet's written reviews are positive against 0% of RT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NavNet ships an update every 5 months, RT monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
