# Memory vs Puzzle8

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Puzzle8 at none against Memory's 10. Puzzle8 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Memory's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 3). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memory sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Puzzle8 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Puzzle8 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memory has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
