# Skyward Mobile Access vs Pine Tree ISD

The clearest difference is rating: Pine Tree ISD at 3.5 against Skyward Mobile Access's 1.8. Skyward Mobile Access's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pine Tree ISD holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skyward Mobile Access has 3.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Skyward Mobile Access's written reviews are positive against 0% of Pine Tree ISD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skyward Mobile Access ships an update fortnightly, Pine Tree ISD every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
