# Pace Calculator vs Run the World

The clearest difference is rating: Run the World at 5.0 against Pace Calculator's 4.3. Run the World also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Pace Calculator's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pace Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Run the World sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Run the World holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pace Calculator has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Pace Calculator's written reviews are positive against 74% of Run the World's.

Pace Calculator ships an update every 5 days, Run the World monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
