# Inside Soap UK vs iTV Shows

The clearest difference is update cadence: iTV Shows at every 10 days against Inside Soap UK's every 6 months. iTV Shows also leads on review sentiment (46% vs 30%) and ratings volume (224 vs 13). Inside Soap UK's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inside Soap UK sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and iTV Shows sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 2 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inside Soap UK holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTV Shows has 224 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Inside Soap UK's written reviews are positive against 46% of iTV Shows's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Inside Soap UK ships an update every 6 months, iTV Shows every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
