# Carter Lumber vs MAPCO Rewards

The clearest difference is rating: MAPCO Rewards at 3.6 against Carter Lumber's 2.6. MAPCO Rewards also leads on ratings volume (158 vs 5) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). Carter Lumber's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 29%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MAPCO Rewards holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MAPCO Rewards has 158 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Carter Lumber's written reviews are positive against 29% of MAPCO Rewards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Carter Lumber ships an update every 5 months, MAPCO Rewards every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
