# The Trentonian vs Courier

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Courier at 44% against The Trentonian's 23%. Courier also leads on chart position (#186 vs unranked) and ratings volume (618 vs 93). The Trentonian's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Trentonian sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Courier sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Trentonian holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Courier has 618 ratings behind it against 93, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of The Trentonian's written reviews are positive against 44% of Courier's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
