# Castlight Mobile vs CampFit

Castlight Mobile and CampFit both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of CampFit's written reviews are positive against 48% of Castlight Mobile's. Castlight Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (76K vs 22) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CampFit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Castlight Mobile has 76K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Castlight Mobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of CampFit's.

Castlight Mobile ships an update fortnightly, CampFit every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
