# RainAware vs C

The clearest difference is price: C at Free against RainAware's $4.99. C also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). RainAware's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

C is free to download; RainAware costs $4.99 up front. RainAware sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. C asks for nothing beyond the download.

RainAware holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RainAware has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of RainAware's written reviews are positive against 55% of C's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RainAware ships an update every 2 weeks, C every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
