# mconnect Player vs Bel Canto Seek

The clearest difference is price: Bel Canto Seek at Free against mconnect Player's $5.99. Bel Canto Seek also leads on rating (3.8 vs 3.5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). mconnect Player's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#130 vs unranked). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Bel Canto Seek is free to download; mconnect Player costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bel Canto Seek holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mconnect Player has 80 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of mconnect Player's written reviews are positive against 44% of Bel Canto Seek's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mconnect Player ships an update every 3 weeks, Bel Canto Seek every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
