# Estadão vs EBweb

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EBweb at none against Estadão's 3. EBweb also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Estadão's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Estadão sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. EBweb asks for nothing beyond the download.

EBweb holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Estadão has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Estadão ships an update fortnightly, EBweb every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
