# KiN2 vs Vector

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KiN2 at none against Vector's 2. KiN2 also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). Vector's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 60 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vector sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. KiN2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for KiN2 against 5.0 for Vector. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KiN2 has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

KiN2 ships an update every 60 months, Vector every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
