# The Fourth Dimension vs Neural Network

The clearest difference is price: Neural Network at Free against The Fourth Dimension's $2.99. Neural Network also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). The Fourth Dimension's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 141). On rating, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Neural Network is free to download; The Fourth Dimension costs $2.99 up front. Neural Network sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 6 months. The Fourth Dimension asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for The Fourth Dimension against 4.7 for Neural Network. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Fourth Dimension has 1.9K ratings behind it against 141, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of The Fourth Dimension's written reviews are positive against 85% of Neural Network's.

The Fourth Dimension ships an update every 4 months, Neural Network every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
