# Ryanair vs ITA Airways

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Ryanair at 90K against ITA Airways's 1.8K. Ryanair also leads on chart position (#142 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Ryanair against 4.5 for ITA Airways. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ryanair has 90K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 17% of Ryanair's written reviews are positive against 9% of ITA Airways's.

Ryanair ships an update weekly, ITA Airways every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
