# 猫眼 vs CCTV手机电视

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CCTV手机电视 at 96% against 猫眼's 49%. CCTV手机电视 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). 猫眼's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CCTV手机电视 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. 猫眼 asks for nothing beyond the download.

猫眼 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.5K and 2.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of 猫眼's written reviews are positive against 96% of CCTV手机电视's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

猫眼 ships an update monthly, CCTV手机电视 every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
