# CoPilot GPS Navigation vs CAT Scale Locator

The clearest difference is rating: CAT Scale Locator at 4.2 against CoPilot GPS Navigation's 3.5. CAT Scale Locator also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11). CoPilot GPS Navigation's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 6%) and ratings volume (2K vs 14). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoPilot GPS Navigation sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. CAT Scale Locator asks for nothing beyond the download.

CAT Scale Locator holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CoPilot GPS Navigation has 2K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of CoPilot GPS Navigation's written reviews are positive against 6% of CAT Scale Locator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
