# CoPilot GPS Navigation vs NAV

The clearest difference is rating: NAV at 5.0 against CoPilot GPS Navigation's 3.5. NAV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months). CoPilot GPS Navigation's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2K vs 5). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoPilot GPS Navigation sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. NAV asks for nothing beyond the download.

NAV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CoPilot GPS Navigation has 2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CoPilot GPS Navigation ships an update every 4 months, NAV every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
