# CoPilot GPS Navigation vs Route Pilot Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Route Pilot Pro at 100% against CoPilot GPS Navigation's 35%. Route Pilot Pro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months). CoPilot GPS Navigation's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (2K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoPilot GPS Navigation sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Route Pilot Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Route Pilot Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CoPilot GPS Navigation has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of CoPilot GPS Navigation's written reviews are positive against 100% of Route Pilot Pro's.

CoPilot GPS Navigation ships an update every 4 months, Route Pilot Pro every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
