# abcNotes vs Cream Note

The clearest difference is ads: Cream Note at none against abcNotes's shown. Cream Note also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 77%). abcNotes's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 171). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. abcNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cream Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for abcNotes against 4.7 for Cream Note. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: abcNotes has 3K ratings behind it against 171, so its average is the more settled of the two. Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
