# abcNotes vs WeeTask

The clearest difference is ads: WeeTask at none against abcNotes's shown. abcNotes's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. abcNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WeeTask sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

abcNotes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: abcNotes has 2.9K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of abcNotes's written reviews are positive against 60% of WeeTask's.

abcNotes ships an update every 2 weeks, WeeTask every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
