# abcNotes vs ColorSticky

The clearest difference is ratings volume: abcNotes at 3K against ColorSticky's 73. abcNotes also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. abcNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ColorSticky sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for abcNotes against 4.7 for ColorSticky. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: abcNotes has 3K ratings behind it against 73, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 77% and 77% positive.

abcNotes ships an update every 2 weeks, ColorSticky every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
