# abcNotes vs Notes

The clearest difference is rating: abcNotes at 4.6 against Notes's 3.0. abcNotes also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Notes's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. abcNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

abcNotes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: abcNotes has 2.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
