# abcNotes vs Deepen

The clearest difference is ads: Deepen at none against abcNotes's shown. Deepen also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). abcNotes's advantage is ratings volume (2.9K vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. abcNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Deepen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Deepen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: abcNotes has 2.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
