# FRASERS.com vs Matalan

The clearest difference is ads: FRASERS.com at none against Matalan's shown. FRASERS.com also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 45%) and ratings volume (472 vs 61). Matalan's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Matalan holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FRASERS.com has 472 ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of FRASERS.com's written reviews are positive against 45% of Matalan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
