# Eventlink vs SL Schools

The clearest difference is rating: SL Schools at 3.7 against Eventlink's 3.0. Eventlink's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 23 months) and review sentiment (17% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SL Schools holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventlink has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Eventlink's written reviews are positive against 0% of SL Schools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eventlink ships an update every 2 months, SL Schools every 23 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
