# Eventlink vs Random Picker

The clearest difference is rating: Random Picker at 5.0 against Eventlink's 3.0. Eventlink's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Random Picker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventlink has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Eventlink ships an update every 2 months, Random Picker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
