# Words By Post Premium vs Qwirkle

The clearest difference is rating: Qwirkle at 4.5 against Words By Post Premium's 3.9. Qwirkle also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 25) and chart position (#35 vs #109). Words By Post Premium's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 36%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Words By Post Premium costs $2.99 and Qwirkle $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Qwirkle holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Qwirkle has 1.9K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Words By Post Premium's written reviews are positive against 36% of Qwirkle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Words By Post Premium ships an update every 4 months, Qwirkle every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
