# Task vs Habitus

The clearest difference is price: Habitus at Free against Task's $0.99. Task's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 25 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Habitus is free to download; Task costs $0.99 up front. Task sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Habitus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task ships an update every 2 months, Habitus every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
