# SevenDiffs vs History Hit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: History Hit at 86% against SevenDiffs's 0%. History Hit also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 42 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 2). SevenDiffs's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. History Hit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. SevenDiffs asks for nothing beyond the download.

SevenDiffs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: History Hit has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of SevenDiffs's written reviews are positive against 86% of History Hit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SevenDiffs ships an update every 42 months, History Hit every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
