# PSKer vs HamBand

The clearest difference is price: HamBand at Free against PSKer's $2.99. HamBand also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.8) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 31 months). PSKer's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

HamBand is free to download; PSKer costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HamBand holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSKer has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PSKer ships an update every 31 months, HamBand every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
